What can you put in a Bolt Bin?

Genral Household rubbish

Household items like housewares, personal items, clothing, plastics, and paper are welcome. Furniture, including mattresses, box springs, chairs, couches, and sofa beds can be disposed of in our Bins.

Garden and green waste

Green and garden waste, including leaves, grass clippings, branches, and other organic material, are accepted. Garden furniture, planters, and outdoor items such as lawnmowers and garden tools can also be disposed of in our Bins.

Construction waste

Construction waste, including debris such as wood, drywall, concrete, bricks, tiles, and metal, can be disposed of in our Bins. Additionally, old cabinetry, windows, doors, and roofing materials are accepted.

Batteries

Absolutely no batteries are allowed, including car batteries or lithium batteries of any kind.

Asbestos

Asbestos and materials containing asbestos are strictly prohibited and cannot be disposed of in our Bins. Please contact a licensed professional for safe removal and disposal.

Hazardous chemicals

Flammable and hazardous liquids, such as paints, solvents, oils, fuel (petrol, diesel), cleaning chemicals, and any other liquid substances, are not allowed in our Bins. These materials pose significant safety and environmental risks, and should be disposed of at a certified hazardous waste facility to ensure proper handling and disposal.
