Our online shop allows you to order and pay for your bin online with a card or Afterpay. If you prefer to organise your bin over the phone, you can call 0800 129 470 and our team can place your order for you. You can also reach us anytime via email at info@boltbins.co.nz. For any orders not placed through the site, we will invoice you via email for payment at your convenience.

When choosing a bin there are two factors at play. Firstly, what you need to get rid of, and secondly, how much space you need.

We have three bins for the most common waste types: General Waste for any household or building junk, Green Waste for your garden needs, and a Hardfill/Cleanfill option for those difficult and super-heavy materials that can't go in a normal bin. If you need a hand deciding, either call our team or have a look on our products page.

For sizing, we have 1, 2, and 3 cubic metre options for our Green Waste and General Waste bins. Our Hardfill bins come in a 1, 2, and 3 pack of our 800L bin.

Once we have received your order, our delivery driver will be dispatched to deliver your Bolt Bin right to your address.

Our bins are delivered flat-packed and fold out to their full size only when you unpack them. Our delivery drivers are fully trained to evaluate your property location and advise you on where to best place your Bolt Bin. You don't have to be there at the time of delivery. If you're not home, your driver will email you with placement instructions specific to your address.

Same-day delivery is free with every order, but please note this applies only to orders placed before 2pm that same day. Orders placed after 2pm will likely be scheduled for the following morning.

In the unlikely event that there is nowhere practical to place your Bolt Bin on your property, our driver will issue a full refund on the spot.

Your driver will email you with specific placement instructions for your property.

If you're assessing whether your address is suitable for one of our bins, we recommend you first call or email our team, who can use Google Maps and/or a completely free in-person site assessment to evaluate the feasibility of your location.

As some general rules of thumb: we need the bin to be placed within 6 metres of a road or berm so our crane trucks can reach them. We also have requirements around low-hanging powerlines. We recommend you call us if you have any concerns, as 99 times out of 100 we can find a solution for you!

Our bins are yours for as long as you need them. Keep one for a day, a week, or a month, whatever works for you.

Our bins come with detailed filling instructions for your waste type, and as long as you stick to them you should be good to go. Our bins are super heavy duty, and you won't have to worry about weight limits thanks to our simple price guarantee and no hidden charges policy.
